What the H?

Thought of the Day:
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world"
-Mahatma Ghandi

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The other night I had the most disturbing dream.

It was set a year in the future, and the president [I guess was Obama] made this new law that starting in December [2009] we couldn't eat junk food, bread... basically anything of taste. He also made a no music law. The U.S. was slowly turning into a hell.
I was walking down Albertson's Halloween isle and all over pumpkins, bags of candy, bread, were the words "NO" and "EVIL", even "EU" [ which in my dream meant "no" in German...but is really a prefix in anatomy meaning "well"..] Then I accidentally started to eat a Halloween delight...I had to throw it into a jack-o-lanter so Obama wouldn't find out.
And if that's not bad, he made it mandatory that we as citizens had to attend these "haunted houses" which scared us into obeying him.

It was the worst dream ever!
I think it's the future Me telling me not to vote for Obama in 2012.
What do you think?

So Sad

Ignorant people are my biggest pettest peeve. [yes ignorant people are now considered as a pet peeve.]

For example:

London: Part Duex

Thought of the Day:
High school dances are overrated.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

So I've recently invested in a new Ipod. I call her London II [I know, so original]
but she's just not the same :C
but I still love her!

With elections coming up..tomorrow!..I'm so scared that Obama is going to be our next president. If he is, I'm moving to London.
If he wins, its a sure sign that the world is coming to an end.

This year has been going so great. I have a fun job, have great friends [at Westwood and EVIT], super easy classes, and I'm going to graduate. This last Halloween had to be the funnest Halloween I have ever had! My evening consisted of:
-Trick or treating
-Getting free food at Wendy's and Chick-fil-a
-Acting totally crazy and laughing a ton

It doesn't sound like that much fun. But it's the people that you're with that really make it memorable and fun.
I hate how people [especially in the high school world] automatically separate the "nerds" and the "geeks/losers". Why do they do that? Personally, I choose the nerds and the geeks over the "cool popular people" because honestly, the cool ones are the most boring.
They care about how they look and they should act a certain way. You can never be yourself. The really cool people are the nerds/geeks [who aren't really nerds/geeks], they're real.
The "cool ones" just jealous of my friends who are real and don't care about what other people think...that's the way to live life!

In Loving Memory Of

Thought of the Day:

------------------------------------------------------------

So this week was the most stressful thing I've had to endure this whole school year!!

But the most saddest thing happened on the 2nd of October..
My poor little Ipod was stolen...I called her London.

As first hour [Orchestra] started we were in instructed to leave all our belongings in the room and to go rehearse on stage. So I did just that..and I put my school bag in a little corner away from everybody else's. As orchestra came to an end I put my cello away, got my school bag, went in for my Ipod...

and she was gone!!

But not only did someone steal my ipod...they stole another person's too!!
:C

I'm soo sad..
Poor London.
:C

Yay!

--------------------------------------------------------------------
SO last Wednesday I went to go see Vampire Weekend.
First of all, they are great on stage! But not so great at meeting their fans. :C
It was here when it was confirmed to me that I am destined to be in the music industry. I don't care what people will think of me for going to college to become a music major. It may sound wimpy to them, but to me it's amazing.

enjoy!

"That which does not kill you makes you stronger"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So tomorrow I might die.

Not really, I just thought that would be a great attention grabber.

Tomorrow I am going to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. I am not looking forward to it at all... except for the extra sleep I'm going to get and the DRUGS!

..So wish me luck...
and some good icecream.

Who Knew Seminary Could Kill You??

Thought of the Day:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Life is full of experiences. And we learn from almost all of them right??

Experience #1:
Yesterday, I almost died. After seminary I started making my way back to school, which involves crossing a little street. Before I cross I look to my left..all clear. I look to my right...just a car passing. After the passing car [which took approximately 2 seconds], I stepped out on the street. I just got a text message, so I looked down to read it...and all of the sudden I hear this HONK!!!!!!! I look to my LEFT and there was this huge suburban literally 1 foot away from me! Then I did this man scream...which made even more people look at me.
Lessons Learned:
1.) Look before you cross any street. Then look AGAIN!
2.)Don't text and cross a street before you get hit..because when you do, you look like a stupid careless teenage girl.
3.)Man screams coming from a girl + a car horn draws attention.

Experience #2:
When I came to seminary this morning I saw that my teacher had a seating chart on the board. I find my seat, then look at the name of the person sitting next to. It was a boy..I wasn't too enthused because with my luck, he was just like any other not cute guy in my school. As I was thinking this, he sits down.. and says:

"Hey Brittany,"
Me: "Hello!!...[looks at the board]..Spencer!"

Let me tell you...He was not only was he the cutest guy I've seen in a long time but he was nice too! These kind of people are rare at Westwood. So anyways, class starts and during the hymn I discover he has an amazing singing voice.
Hott.
We talk a little. I find he has amazing eyes and a killer smile.
Then the lights turn off.....for a movie!. I find myself having trouble breathing. I felt like I wasn't getting enough air. So I'm trying to control this...panic attack. My heart starts to hurt and I feel faint. So I started telling myself, quoting Charlie Bartlett "You are having a panic attack. You will not die. In 15 minutes it'll all be over." It got worse! Then my gorgeous partner stands up and leaves for the bathroom. My breathing got better.
Lesson Learned:
Really hott guys make me hyperventilate!

Not good.

It Better Be Worth It

Thought of the Day:
Bella: "Should I be afraid?"
Edward: "Terrified."

-----------------------------------------------------------
OK..seeing that it's one in the morning, I can technically say that Breaking Dawn comes out tomorrow!
I've heard really bad things about this book...from all the cheaters who somehow got it online! I'm so scared..I'm going to be pissed if it's as bad as everyone said it is. Worst birthday ever.
No matter what...I'll always cherish the first and third book forever. :D

So I've recently invested in a newer iPod..that I love!! I bought an 80 gig and I don't know what to do with all the extra space! Help me out here people.

Oh and guess what...

I'm happy!

All Done!

Thought of the Day:

"It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."
- Chinese Proverb

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So now as summer comes to an end, mine comes to a start.
I'm so relieved, I've finally finished my summer class at Mountain View. [With an A!!]
EVIT finally came to an end. I've had 3 clients so far! My first gave me a 5 dollar tip..she was nice. :)
So now all I have to worry about is work..
and getting ungrounded. :C

OK.
Worst pet peeve:

I hate it when people complain about things they can't control [except gas prices..because I do that] but it's even worse when it's things that I can't even control. This usually happens when I'm working. Some person will come up and order a whole bunch of gross movie theater food nearing the $30 mark. And when it comes time for me to get their money, they complain at ME, making ME feel bad for wasting all their money. You're the one who wanted all that food. Stupid fat bastards.

OR

when people come up to the counter with a year's supply of free coupons, they whine when they end up having to pay one insignificant dollar to fill up their refillable cup. It sure beats 4 dollars to fill up a cup that same size!

I just love it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for being such a slacker lately... I've never had a busier summer.
I've been taking some classes at Mountain View ...
Evit has totally opened my eyes. I'm now a senior there. We get real live clients who actually care what their hair looks like. Unlike those fake heads we get. I haven't had a client..yet. But I pray that he/she is nice and forgiving.
And work is a whole different story...maybe I'll blog about that later.

Just the other day, out of boredom, I was watching Music&Lyrics.
I got to the part where Alex was recording him and Sophie's little song for Cora and putting it all together...and then it just hit me! I want to do that for a living. I would love writing songs for people.
So, now when my parents ask me why on earth I want to study music in college...I'll have a straight answer!

All I have to do next is marry some awesome musician that has a heavenly voice, and we could be millionaires.
