Today in seminary, my teacher asked us one of 'those' questions. Not really thinking about it, I was forced to share my answer basically. I told him how friends really do make a difference in your life. In a spiritual kind of way.
Good friends = good spirit.
Bad friends = bad spirit.
Simple.

Then later, I threw in how parents are always right!
It's true! It took me till 9th grade to finally realize that.
But what really threw me off was that the teacher was impressed. Impressed that I had already learned that lesson. huh.

I'm just so grateful for mi familia. If it weren't for them, I would be one of those girls. The ones that have no clue about what life is really about. Not that I do, but I know it's more than running around malls with your little boyfriend. Or sneaking behind your parent's back. (What's the point of that??)
