Where did the Time Go?

Thought of the Day:

"Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt to you represents determinism; the way you play it is free will"
- Jawaharal Nehru

There is only one way for a teenager to move out after high school and pay for their own schooling...get a job.

Shelby and I have 'tried out' at Cinemark. And guess what? We got called back for an interview!
Oh yes...they'll love us. It has been a while since my last job. I wouldn't really call it a job either..I picked my own days, my own hours, and no one would know if I didn't show up to work that day. Above all, it was easy. Who ever said coaching girls basketball is hard..is wrong.

Lets hope that it's an easy transition. I hope that the job isn't too demanding. As long as I get to work with my fellow fiends I'm content. [But it better be worth it!]

I'm exited. I hope me and Shelby win.

It's not that embarassing..

Thought of the Day:

The other night Mimi and I were at Walmart. As we were passing the 'girlie' isle we saw a man standing there, on his cell. He couldn't have looked more uncomfortable. We bet that he was on the phone with his girlfriend asking what kind of feminine 'tool' to get. It was hilarious..we had to turn back for a second glance. He was done and bolted out of there like the devil was on his heels. Poor guy.

On a different note..I just want to say that I'm so happy that I didn't 'waste' my first kiss on just anyone. That's all.

Let's Do Our Business In Peace!

Thought of the Day:

"I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past"

The only bad thing about spring break is that you can't get to bed at a decent hour. So thats why I've decided that:

Anyways, last night I did some heavy duty dreaming.

For some reason the bathroom stalls consisted of 2 or 3 toilets each. When I went to pee, I happened to choose the one with the cute 8th grader that I accidentally flirted with [funny story].
He was sitting, doing his business, and I didn't realize that he was even there until I was commited to that toilet! It was very awkward...and after a while he began to call for his mom.
I think I lost all respect for him now. He was a nice kid too! You can't see a person on the toilet and not look at them differently after words.
Now, I will fight back rolls of giggling and laughter the next time I see him.

Little White Lies

Thought of the Day:

"Your criticism may be worse than the conduct that you are trying to correct."
-James E. Faust

Yesterday I found a quarter in Mimi's car.
A little quarter can mean alot when your wallet is full of receipts and no cash.
I have to admit, I did take that quarter. Then the better side of me convinced me to give it back. I put it in her room.

This morning I was trying to find a good church jacket for this windy, cool Sunday. I pulled out one that I hadn't worn for one or two years. I put my hands in the pockets, and low and behold...I found a dollar!!

This afternoon I was telling Mimi, casually, that I considered taking her quarter. Mimi gave it to me! [Paying me for the bracelet that I let her borrow today]

The quarter may seem little and insignificant, but I learned a good lesson today:
I should always be honest because in the end, it pays!

Loves and Lovers

Thought of the Day:

"Under shabby hats there are many good people"
--Who Knows??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was listening to Muse earlier today with Mimimiers. It caused me to reflect on old, precious memories...I was supposed to kiss Muse. What better way to spend your first kiss?? I couldn't, there were too many buff security guards..and because I chickened out.

But I'm positive that he would kiss me if I just told him that I wanted him to be my first..dang.
Maybe in August, when he plays in London with Travis!
Anyways--

This year my school musical is Brigadoon..I play the cello for it! But over the past couple months I have learned a lot of things.

a.) I learned how to play hard music
b.) I learned how that musicals are okay
c.) I learned that delicious hugs are awesomely delicious.
Ya, it was an awesome experience.
